What is the HUB?
The HUB is young-adult-driven network of nonprofit, for profit, and government agencies, and community members that provides support, services, and programs concerning transition age youth (i.e., individuals ages 14 to 26, emerging young adults) in Durham, NC.
The HUB’s purpose is to unite people and organize opportunities so that emerging adults can thrive in their communities.
The Young Adult Resource Center will be the HUB's free daytime resource center that provides at risk young adults with a place to shower, eat, receive clothing and toiletries, meet with mental health or other needed coordinators of service, and receive assistance in securing housing, education and employment.
The HUB has hired interim co-directors to take the project through its next phase of development…
Meet Germane James and Janeen Gingrich. Come meet us in person, along with the Young Adult Council, interested citizens and HUB committee members at the community meeting on September 25th at 4pm at Provident 1898, 411 W Chapel Hill St Suite C2, Durham, NC 27701 - in the basement of the NC Mutual Building.
